Sam's mission is to improve the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and vulnerable communities by shifting policy, practice and culture.  Sam is a firm believer in innovative and accessible education, robust and user friendly guidelines and systems, and attitudes that centre around the child or young person as the primary ingredients for safe organisations. 

Expertise

Samantha is an accomplished leader in community services, specialising in providing support to children and young people. With a rich career history spanning various practice and leadership roles in care and protection, out-of-home care, education, homelessness, disability, intensive case management, and youth justice, she brings a wealth of practice knowledge and innovative thinking.

Her expertise extends to organisational capacity building, encompassing policy and framework development, training, project management, research, and stakeholder partnership negotiations, among other areas. Samantha's deep understanding of legislation, especially in child protection and safeguarding, allows her to create accessible and user-friendly resources for diverse audiences.
